About the role

You'll prepare and review Canadian corporate and personal tax filings, research technical tax questions, and advise clients or internal teams on planning opportunities. You'll handle CRA correspondence and audits, track filing deadlines across the year, model the tax impact of transactions, and keep working papers organized to professional standards. During peak season you'll manage a heavy return volume without letting accuracy slip; off-season you'll dig into planning and process improvements.

What you'll bring

You bring strong technical knowledge of Canadian tax legislation, meticulous working habits, and the ability to explain complex tax positions in plain language. You manage deadlines calmly, ask the right questions when facts are incomplete, and stay current as the rules change.
